So on Mon. We faxed in the deposit for the venue. I am glad to say that we now have the place officially booked and Dan and I can continue to plan. I was very nervous of finding a great venue for a wedding only 11 months away. Luckily, we snagged this place on one of the last Sat available in 2010. Believe me it wasn't easy either.
For me personally, I'm scared to plan the food. I'll gladly admit that I'm a boring eater, no flavour (I love British english) here please. Do you think I can just have mac & cheese or pizza for my wedding meal? Dan and I are hoping somewhere in the pages of the Monona Terrace Catering menu something will seem appetizing for all those invited. Keeping in mind of course food allergies and vegetarians (Shout-out to Betsy). Readers: Be prepared for us to ask you opinions and help on the food choice. We both will need it.
So to close I have one request. If anyone has any advise to give Dan and I pertaining to wedding shows. He and I are going to go to the huge extravaganza that is the Bridal Show in Madison and we don't really know what to plan for. Let us know what we can expect.
