The saga continues...

So when I was finished trying on a few dresses it was time for some bridesmaids styles. My sister and Becky (two bridesmaids) tried on a couple styles. I'm pretty sure they have chosen the dresses they want. Oh yeah, for those of you not familiar yet. I'm not going with the traditional look for the bridesmaids. First and foremost I want the dress to be reusable. So I chose the color black. I just have some general guidelines because it still is my wedding, amirite? I looked through the styles at David's Bridal and will let them chose from a list of the dresses I like. A few of my bridesmaids may be using dresses they already have. Whatever they chose I know they will look great.

Other than that Dan and I went to a hockey game in which WI just edged some no name team that I don't even remember. The night was fun and we got to hang out with some of our Madison friends. Plus, Dan really likes hockey and wishes he was on the ice. *In HS and college he played a lot of hockey and was usually the goalie. Better watch out I'm not marrying a sieve.

For Sun we got right on the road and made it home with enough time to relax a bit. That drive gets longer and longer I swear it does. I'm definitely not looking forward to all the drives back to Madison for wedding stuff.

BTW we will be in town next (for those Madisonians) on the weekend of Feb 5th for the Culver's (ugh) Camp Randall Hockey Classic. Its an outdoor hockey game in Feb and I hope the weather is nicer than this week.

Tata for now!

  1. As far as dress for bridesmaids and groomsmen is concerned, consider rentals. When my good friend got married last year, Mens Warehouse supplied tuxes for all the groomsmen to make sure we matched. We could go to any outlet to get measured, then decide where we were going to pick them up, and then drop them off again at any outlet. It was really the only option because all of us were scattered all over the country, and one was actually on a different continent! The bridesmaids had a similar arrangement with a womanly-oriented chain :)

    Best of luck!
