In all this wedding planning, it is easy to forget that the more important thing is the commitment we are celebrating. We have many years ahead of us to spend together. Visiting my grandparents this last weekend helped me remember that. Congrats on their 60th anniversary!!! They still seem so happy after all these years. They live life with such a good energy and good humor. You can really tell that they found the perfect person to balance each other out. At dinner on Sunday they said that that the key to it is to have a sense of humor. I'm trying to keep one, and keep Jeni laughing, but wedding planning comes with loads of stress. To manage that stress, I have to get organized.
I've got a todo list for tomorrow:
1. Call the florist / greenhouse
2. Solicit a bunch of addresses from people
3. Figure out how I am going to make the save the dates
4. Check back in here on the block to update how I did. Yell at me in the comments if you don't get an update from me tomorrow. Someone has to hold me accountable, I figure the best way is to tell the public, hehe.
I am also going to try to make smaller updates more frequently with these sorts of todo lists and updates. I've been lazy with posting recently. Thanks for reading !!
